(Please describe where you were and what you were doing when the earthquake hit Nepal on 25 April 2015?)
I was in my college (Vibrant College) having a class. Though it was a Saturday, we were dong some practical tasks.

(Please describe your immediate mental and physical reaction, and your response following the quake.)
I was so afraid and went totally blank. I was on the fifth floor.

(What were your most important concerns at that time?)
My main important concern was myself.

(What types of information were you looking for at that time? Did you have access to all the information you needed?)
I was waiting to know about the incident and so hurried to come out of that building. I didn’t have instant access to the information.

(How helpful were news media such as radio, television, newspapers, online news portals, etc in informing you immediately after the quake and the days following it? Please note their strengths as well as weaknesses).
Online news portals were very effective regarding the immediate information flow but some of the news was not accurate.

(Please describe how you spent the week following the quake– what you did, etc.).
I went to Pokhara after 3 days. But for the first 3 days, I stayed in Bhrikutimandap.

(Any memorable facts or incidents during the week following the quake?)
Everything was so unpredictable and it was  so hear-breaking.  Every moment was memorable for me.

(What are some of the lessons that we should take away from the 25 April 2015 quake in Nepal?)
There are so many lessons that we have learned from this quake. Congested homes and areas are not safe;  very tall buildings are dangerous for living.

If you haven’t shared your testimonial on Nepal earthquake 2015, you can do so here
